Many people like to name their car as though it were part of the family. Often we feel a bond with the vehicle we spend so much time in. The question is how do we come up with a good name and how do we know what its gender is?
A car name can be picked from either just names you like or names that you would name your children. They could be sentimental names such as someone you have loved and lost. It could be named after the person you purchased it from if it's an individual buyer. It could be named after a place in South Carolina or Georgia, like Ashley, Cooper, Santee, Baxter, Tybee or Ravenel.
Though a car doesn't have any obvious features that would specify its gender I believe that you just know the moment you see it. There's no decision to make it just is what it is. If it's a female and you want a male then keep looking. However there might be some ambiguous vehicles that might be best suited with a gender neutral name such as Cameron or Taylor but I have yet to meet one.
I'm sure that every person has their own special way of picking out the perfect car name. We spend many hours in our cars and it certainly is nice to be on a first name basis.
