Since 1903 Triest Agency has served the insurance needs of Charleston and South Carolina. That's before the Cooper River even had a bridge from Mt Pleasant to Charleston. Not just before the Ravenel Bridge but before the old Pearman and Grace Bridges that linked the two areas. Those were days when people had to take a ferry to get across the Cooper River to Mt Pleasant, Sullivans Island or the Isle of Palms. While I'm talking about Charleston's bridges, we've been around since before the two bridges that cross the Ashley River to downtown Charleston. The older bridge, known at the Memorial Bridge was built in 1926 and was dedicated to South Carolina's WWI casualties.
